Ni hao! For our study of China we decided to make paper fans! They were really easy and fun, but make sure to follow the directions, or like me you’ll be adding paper to them to make them work!

Supplies:

  • Paper (48 in. x 7 in.) I took 4 sheets of copy paper and glued them together end to end to get the 48” long. Then I cut that to be 7” tall.
  • Markers, crayons, stamps etc to decorate
  • Large popsicle sticks
  • Glue

Directions:

STEP 1: Decorate your paper.

STEP 3: Tape around bottom of paper (about 1/2 inch worth) and glue popsicle sticks on each side so that about 1” of the sticks are above the paper line:

STEP 4: Unfold and enjoy!
