I’m a contributing writer for Totally Tots Blog, and since this month’s theme was Princesses, I couldn’t resist creating some of my Letter of the Week activities to go with the Princess Theme!

Princess Reading: Do Princesses wear Hiking Boots? by Carmela LaVigna Coyle (See bottom of post for more books by Carmela LaVigna Coyle)

This cute book portrays a young lady asking her mom questions about what it means to be a princess. It’s a rhyming book full of whimsical questions and answers, concluding with the question and answer “Do princesses look at all like me?” and the mom responds “Look inside yourself and see…”

Outside Activity: Go take a hike! Literally ;o)

  1. Thank you SO much! I love this! My daughter saw me looking at these and she asked with huge wide eyes, "Is that for ME???" Thanks again. (And I ordered two of your curriculum cd's last week – they arrived SO quickly. I love everything!!!)

  2. Thank you so much Erica. My girls will love this. I was wondering if the Numerical Order Puzzle's have been added for all the LOTW letters? I've downloaded everything you've made for the expansion pack, as you made it. But I would love to download those puzzles if you have them. Thanks for all you do.Bonnie

  3. How pretty! And don't forget the "Gigi God's Princess books!"I was just wondering do you have blends and digraphs for your blend ladders? That's the one thing I'm really lacking for my reading program, and if you had it than your thing would be perfect. I hadn't seen it yet, but was curious.

  4. Although we have never encouraged the whole "princess" idea, my granddaughter who is 2 1/2 suddenly thinks about nothing else, that and pink. Everything pink in the whole world belongs to her or so she thinks. She will love this pack, thanks so much.
