I hope you all enjoyed the 10 Days of Classic Literature series!  I realize that several of you would like to purchase more than one pack, so I added a Classical Literature Combo Pack at a discounted price!

What’s Included?

Each unit study contains educational lessons, activities and a fun lap book that your students will work on as they progress through the book. They also include book reports, vocabulary, critical thinking, story timelines, and comprehension. These studies are geared towards grades Kindergarten-4th, but can probably be adapted for older students as well.

I really designed these units to be a fun addition to reading the classics. I didn’t want them to be too stressful for myself or my kiddos, but instead give them something fun to do along with the stories to help them remember what they’ve learned in a fun hands-on way. The lap books included are wonderful for reviewing subject matter, and a great creative interactive homeschooling tool.

Here is a sample of the lap book created for the Treasure Island unit study.

In this unit students will learn all about pirates, clothing, moral codes, pirate ships and more! They will make their own pirate “booty”, do a character study, learn about parrots, create a secrete treasure map, learn to read a compass, and of course learn some pirate vocabulary!

The units also include forms for predicting story plots, character analysis, identifying the protagonist and antagonist, a story timeline, and a final book report on the novel.

  1. we have just finished the Charlotte’s web unit study. Everyone enjoyed it, DD6 did the lap book and activities and DD2 made some of the crafts with us and I supplemented a few farm crafts…
It is so good to have units on books that the whole family can enjoy. After we finish ‘Socks’ for our cat unit..we are using your Stuart little unit study.
    Thank you soooo much!

  2. I’m so excited to do this unit next school year with my boys. I was looking around on Amazon and found that there are several different options of the same titles (some books have more pages or are “easy readers”.) Could you tell me what versions of the books you used with your kids? My boys are will be 8.5 and 7.5 at the start of the next school year and are both great readers. Just don’t want to get in over my head picking the wrong versions. Thanks, Candice

  3. We are having an absolute blast with these! Thank you for the time you’ve invested in them. I just stumbled across a book at our library called Turkish Delight and Treasure Hunts. It’s loaded with activities and recipes from most of your lapbooks- It gives additional ways to enjoy these great classics. Just thought I’d share!
