Hello sweet readers! Every year  I try to do something fun to keep Jesus the focus of our holiday season. Where gifts, shopping, and the frenzy of getting can get overwhelming, I really want to make sure my kiddos remember the actual reason for our holiday. And also help take their focus off of receiving and put it back onto our Lord Jesus Christ!

This year we’re excited to be going through Truth in the Tinsel by Amanda White.  It is an eBook that includes 24 days of Scriptures, crafts, discussion, and activities that help put the focus back on Jesus! It’s a great book for kids of any age from preschool to elementary.

And not only do I love this book, but Amanda has taken extra effort to make it super easy for me! There are tons of fun crafts your kiddos can make and Amanda has a supply list you can take to the store, so you have everything you need for all of the ornaments.

As if that weren’t already enough, she also offers printable ornaments if you prefer just to make your life a little easier!

What’s the cost?

This book is truly a blessing for us this year! I honestly don’t have a lot of time to plan something elaborate and Truth in the Tinsel is perfect for giving our family a Jesus centered Christmas, with very little work on my part! Hallelujah!

Looking for something different? Here are a few things we’ve also done in the past:
