Hi friends! It’s time for my monthly meal plan again. It’s so true what they say, the days go slow, but the years go fast! Or in this case, the months go by fast. Who am I kidding? As a mama of four, the days are even blazing by at this point! At least I don’t have to think about what to make for dinner for the next month though right!

Anyway…onto the task at hand which is feeding all of the troops for another month! Of course I couldn’t do it without some kind of meal plan, and I’m hoping it helps all of you as well.

If you haven’t already used this before, you can click on any of the underlined menu items to get to the recipe.

I like to shop once a week, so I just make a list off of my menu plan and head to the store. I find that I spend less when I shop off of a list, then flying by the seat of my pants. I also end up with ingredients that will actually go together instead of a bunch of random items that don’t amount to anything.

  1. Wow! Busy Mom’s Guide to Home Cooked Meals looks sooo good! Way to go Erica. May the Lord bless me with a more organized mind that I might be as efficient as you! I appreciate the talent God has given you girl. I’m going to prayerfully try to copy you! (You know, your meal planning skills, not like.. plagiarism.) I would totally just use your meals but we have a bunch of food allergies. (Bummer) But with what we can eat I’m definitely going to try to do the charts and monthly meal planning. Whew! I appreciate your effort. It makes me want to try harder.

    1. Hi Lisa,
It really helps to get a meal plan going so I don’t have to think about it! In the book, I do have a blank calendar with blank meal labels that you can use to fill in your own meals etc. 🙂 That might work for you a little better than these pre-filled in ones.
