Classic Literature Volume 3!

Looking for some fun, hands-on, literature activities for your young readers? Look no further! I’ve been releasing literature units each week, and I finally have the Classic Literature Mega Pack Volume 3 ready to go!  What is a literature unit? Literature units are a great way to introduce your students to classic literature at a younger age. These units all use the “Classic Starts” version of the books. These versions are great for younger students to read and comprehend, while still delving into the classics! The literature units come with daily chapter assignments and mini-books that students will use to create a lapbook. They also include comprehension questions and vocabulary to make sure your student understands each chapter, and to help them remember what they’ve read! The Prince and the Pauper unit study is a perfect way to add in some reading fun!   Story Summary: The Prince and the Pauper is a charming story of two boys who look remarkably alike, but lead two very different lives! Edward is heir to the throne of England, while Tom’s father is a beggar and a thief. When the two boys meet by chance one day, they decide to change clothes for fun. I have a fun Literature Unit Study and Lapbook for you today it’s the imaginative classic Peter Pan unit study. Hope you enjoy!   Story Summary: The Darling’s were a normal, happy English family, until the arrival of a certain boy. Peter Pan ran away from home because he didn’t want to grow up, and since then he’s been living on the island of Neverland. One night the mischievous boy visits the Darlings and takes them on an adventure to his island. Find out what happens as the Darlings visit the island where they meet a band of pirates, their mighty captain Hook, and even a giant crocodile! Hi everyone! I have another fun Literature Unit Study and Lapbook for you today. This one is on the classic Moby Dick. Hope you enjoy!   Story Summary: Ishmael is a sailor seeking adventure, and he comes upon the Pequod and it’s one-legged captain. Moby Dick follows the thrills and dangerous adventures as the crew searches for riches and for the infamous Moby Dick. Set sail with Captain Ahab as he searches for the great white whale! This accompanying unit study is meant to be used with the Moby Dick Classic Starts version as retold from the Herman Melville original. Gulliver’s Travels Literature Unit Study & Lapbook

Good Morning! I have another new Classic Literature Unit Study and Lapbook! Today’s unit is Gulliver’s Travels Unit Study . This is a great book for young readers as it includes a lot of adventure and fictional fun! Hope you enjoy it!   Story Summary: Much like Robinson Crusoe, Gulliver has a need for travel and adventure! When Gulliver first goes off to sea, he has no idea of the strange adventures he’ll find. World Geography Unit Study: Argentina

Buen Dia’ and welcome to our World Geography unit study! This week we’re learning all about Argentina! Did you know the Iguazu Falls are a series of falls on the Iguacu River that stretch a distance of over two miles. Their name comes from an Indian word meaning great water.  That’s just one of the cool things we learned about this week! So of course we started by going over all the countries we’ve learned so far, then found Argentina on the map. Here are some of the things we learned on our voyage: Located Argentina and The Pampas on the map, and completed our worksheet Learned about the Argentina Flag and colored in our worksheet Learned how to say “Hello” in Spanish – Hola (Hello) Buen Dia’ (Good Day)!
