Homeschool Extra Forms

This planner also comes with a variety of forms to help you with your planning and record keeping. If there’s a form I forgot, feel free to email me and I’ll do my best to add one in! Most of these forms were created to go along with my Homeschooling 101: A Guide to Getting Started eBook. Hopefully they’re fairly self explanatory but you can use them however best suits your needs.

How do I use the planner?

I printed the planner and forms, then took mine to a local office supply store and had it spiral bound. It cost about $3.50 for the spiral, plastic cover, and backing. You can even print an extra one for your students if they prefer to work off of their own planner.

Next get some colorful pens and start planning! Add in the current week dates at the top along with all of your subjects down the left hand column.

Next add in your lessons on the lines provided. You can use the lines to write in lessons for each child as indicated below.

I like to use different colored pens for each of my children.

As you proceed through your lessons, highlight the completed items so you know that they are finished.

PLEASE NOTE: This item is currently only available as a download. You’re welcome to print the file double sided, then have it spiral bound at a local copy store. I would suggest printing it on a light weight cardstock for durability and to prevent ink bleeding through the pages. To print double sided, it’s easiest to print all of the odd pages, then flip and print the even pages on the back side.

  1. I just purchased my daily lesson planner today and I purchased the 5×7 planner last week. having both planners is this one any different? Are there any worksheets that I would b missing? Thx

    1. The Daily Lesson planner is more like a normal day planner with meals, grocery lists, to-do lists etc. The 5×7 planner and this one are both homeschool lesson planners, with grade books, attendance sheets, book lists, etc for homeschooling 🙂

  2. HI, Erica! Thank you so much for this awesome planner. Just bought it. However, I’m just wondering, do you have one that starts in June? June is the start of the (regular) school year here in the Philippines, so we pretty much follow that. 🙂 In case you’ll have an update for this file, kindly let me know, please! God bless the work of your hands.

    1. Hi, I’m so sorry, i just have these that run from August – July as it’s the norm in the US for the most part. Aside from those who school year round. You could always use your June-July pages from last years planner and just put them in the front of this one.

  3. Hi Erica, I just purchased the planner and I am having difficulties with the order of it. The first time I printed it it was as single sheets. This was before I came to your post and saw that double sided is the preferred method. So I reprinted it but as double sided this time and for the life of me the flow still doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t seem to go in order? Can you review the copy you have for purchase to confirm its layout, please?

Also is there somewhere on your site or youtube where you show how to put this together?

    Thanks in advance!

      1. Can you help me figure it out? =D I’m having issues. I haven’t yet printed, but it seems to me if I go double sided the weeks wont match up and or will be upside down? Am I crazy?

    1. Hi Christina,
It’s in PDF format, and right now it’s not editable digitally. I tried very hard to make it editable, but it just wasn’t working with the forms that I wanted to include. So for now it’s a print and write type of planner.

    1. Yes, there will be a new one coming soon. Right now I can’t make them editable unfortunately though I’ve tried. There are just too many fields in the planner and Adobe Writer doesn’t like it.
