You need to take what they say about Amelia Earhart with a grain of salt. Last year I found a small book in our Library and I was blown away by what it said. Amelia Earhart wasn’t the pilot that she is made out to be. There was a younger girl who was about 18 I think and she had a race with Amelia and because she was a much better pilot than Amelia was she won. Because of who Amelia’s husband was he pulled strings and the flight was given to her. She did not have flight training this other girl was and it was only because Amelia’s husband pulled strings to get her the flight that she got it. Look what it got her. Death.
