Welcome to Day 9 of my 10,000 Subscriber Celebration! Today I have a super fun Rock and Card Set to giveaway! I think this is one of my son’s favorite items for the week!
This super cool set comes with various rocks and minerals and correlated cards with information, images and facts for each one. Each double-sided card features a photo, information on how it can be used in everyday life and some fun kid-friendly facts!
Check out the Rock and Card Set here!
The kids had a great time playing with each one, matching them to the photo cards and learning about each type. We even got out the magnifying glass so we could get a closer look at our minerals.
The Fact Cards are colorful and sturdy and come with lots of fun information including how the rocks can be used, what they generally look like, where they can be found and some cards include a fun “Try This” activity!
You’ll even learn scientific terms such as Opaque, translucent, transparent, igneous, metamorphic, sedimentary, mineral, and more!

I would love to win this rock set! My son loves dinosaurs, and recently that has led to understanding how floods can mix things up and cause l ayers to form in the earth. I’ve already done unit on dinosaurs with him, so now I’m looking for tangent lessons that can be connected to dinosaurs. A unit on geology would be a great addition to his learning!
My two boys talk about rocks all the time. This would be wonderful!
This is my 1st yr hm schooling my 1st, 2nd and 3rd grader, I would love to win this!! 🙂
This would be a great education to our educational supplies.
My son’s would love this….their Grandfather is a rockhound and he would love to play with the rocks with his grandkids!!!!

My son would love this. He I just so obsessed with rocks, and
this looks amazing!!
Gosh! What a cool set and thanks for the giveaway. My son loves rocks. He would collect them as we go for walks in the park and at the end of our walk, we would have handfuls of rocks! This would be a great extension for him to learn more about rocks and minerals.
I have a 3rd grade rock licker and while I’ve been drawn to getting ‘just a collection’ these samples are a great size, big enough to really see the details AND discovery cards to go with it, AWESOME.
My 4yo son would LOVE this rock set! I’m hoping he’d realize that rocks are NOT for throwing! (OKAY, I just had to add that! Seriously, both my kiddos would love the rocks 🙂
