FREE Alphabet Pattern Block Printables

One of the Teeny Tot’s favorite things to play with are the wooden pattern blocks . She got to the Letter K week and requested more printables for them. So I created uppercase and lowercase alphabet shaped pattern block printables for her. Of course you know I’m going to share them with you as well!

Here is an up close view of the letter “A” page. I put uppercase and lowercase blocks on each page so it is easy and fun for them to create the shapes using their blocks.

I’m going to add them to my Letter of the Week curriculum as well, but if you purchased it prior, you can just download them here free! This is one of the Teeny Tot’s new favorite activities, and she’s usually very pleased when she can complete the puzzles on her own!

And if you missed my pattern block printables earlier this year, I have some fun pattern block activity cards as well! My kids love doing patterns and the picture cards using the pattern blocks, and so awhile back I made some preschool pattern cards.

  3. these are beautiful, and such a GREAT idea! THANK YOU! If I could ask for one thing, it would be for a version with just the outlines of the blocks, no color, since I do not have a color printer, only b/w. The gray looks worse than just empty would.

Do these come in black & white as well? :)

  33. So, after I saw this post, I clicked on your link to Amazon to buy the wooden pattern blocks… I put them on my “wish list” to save, and just today, went back to purchase them, only to find, they are out of stock! LOL! Then I searched everywhere online, and they are out of stock in other sites too. I almost think a bunch of people bought them all at once after your blog post! And they are sold out and the company has to make more? How crazy funny is that? You should set up one of those Amazon stores where people can buy and you get credit (not sure how that works or maybe you do that already) So… I found some other brands that seem the same (example: learning resources wooden pattern blocks, 250 pieces) do you think they are pretty standard and would fit your sheets even if it’s not the same brand? Thanks!

  34. My blocks just came today and I can’t wait to get my four year old working on these. I saw the alphabet, numbers, and patterns. Are there any other links with activities for these blocks?

  35. Nevermind my earlier comment… I just realized that on the bottom of your post you share other brands of blocks too, so, I’m assuming all those different brands will work with the pattern sheets. Thanks again!

  36. Cheryl Powell says:

Oh My!! I have these blocks- what a great resource!! I am LOVING your site!!

  37. I love these but I would really appreciate a version that is black and white with just the outlines of each block. I love all of your colorful resources but sometimes my printer ink budget complains. :)

  38. Thank you for this! I posted a link back to your site on our “supplies we use” list, over on my blog. {http://www.dandelionsonthewall.com/2012/10/homschool-supplies-we-use.html}

  39. Can you tell me before I print them out will they work with the plastic blocks purchased from the local Teachers stores?

  40. I love these! Oh yeah…the kids love them too! =P

To help save card stock and laminate sheets, I used the front and back of the card stock…I first printed odd and then even on the back side…

Thank you for all of your resources! You are amazing :)

  41. These are just so well done! I linked to them here.

Erica, You are a blessing to our homeschool experience!

  43. Is there anyway to get a PDF of these in black and white? I don’t have a color printer.

  44. My friend and I have boys, two months apart. We are some of the only stay-at-home moms in our town, so we’re a little isolated. I just want to affirm you and THANK you from the bottom of our hearts. We were both floundering, trying to figure out what our boys need and how to provide it. We both hit a lightbulb-moment and called each other, only to discover that we had both, separately, found your website! Thank you for all the work you put into this website. It has really helped give us confidence and direction.
