We did a lesson in contrast today from the book How To Teach Art To Children, they learned what contrast means (the degree of difference between colors or tones in a piece of art), and made a grid to show high contrast color combinations. I really like this book, they have easy to do and easy to understand lessons.
Please forgive my daughters hair, I braided it and she took it out and won’t let me comb out the curlies LOL!
I have no excuse for this girls hair, other than its curly to begin with and she cut her own bangs awhile back, so its very hard to control! haha!
I ordered this book, too, after seeing it on your blog! I can't wait to get it and start using it! I like the idea of being intentional with teaching art concepts.
