This recipe is super easy to make and the kids love it! The dough recipe comes from my dear friend over at Abiding Mom.

Ingredients:

  • 7 1/2 c flour
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp yeast
  • 3 cup warm water
  • 1 jar Pizza sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Your favorite pizza toppings

Instructions:

STEP 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

STEP 2: In large bowl mix/knead together yeast, & warm water, then add flour & salt. Knead together for 6-10 minutes until dough is smooth. I use a Bosch Mixer to knead my dough, but this is super easy to hand knead. (Also, if you’re in the market for a Bosch, check eBay, I got a used one for pretty cheap!)

STEP 3: Divide dough into 2 even pieces and roll into circle shape (or to fit your cookie sheet, I have a round pizza stone) Place dough onto a GREASED cookie sheet.

STEP 4: Bake dough at 425 for 5-8 minutes and remove from oven and add sauce, cheese and other desired toppings. Continue baking for another 15-18 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.

After eating our pizza we like to dip the crust in Agave Nectar from Mudhava instead of honey. Agave is a natural liquid sweetener made from the extract of the wild agave. It can be pricey, so I buy bulk and just refill the little container!

Enjoy!

  1. So, you don’t have to let this pizza dough rise at all? You just make it and bake it? I thought all dough had to rise for some amount of time. I just wanted to make sure before I tried it.
