Model’s for Little Guys

IMG_3556

My son has been interested in building models but I always thought he was too young until I found this X-Wing Fighter! I found this one at Michael’s. They say 8+ years, so he did it together with Dad.

They are no paint, no glue, snap together pieces, so they do have to be able to read the numbers to match them up. He completed his model in under an hour.

We’ll be doing more of these for sure!

Good to know! My son has been wanting to put together models as well. Must be a guy thing 🙂

have you tried any of the Star Wars science kits with him? He might be just perfect for that, and those are about on level with the model he did.

I think Brad would really love to have a little guy to get involved with this kind of stuff. He makes models, but they are a role playing table top game. He's also a huge star wars fan so he'd be into this too.

Thank you for posting this. My 9 yod has been asking to work on models this summer. This will be a good start for him before he moves to the more complicated stuff. 🙂
