October 2016 Monthly Meal Plan

Hi everyone! I really love living in Colorado because we really get to experience all four seasons here. While I tend to be excited for the start of each of them, I really have to say that fall is my absolute favorite. It’s still nice outside, but the air has a fresh crisp feeling to it. And don’t even get me started on all of the pumpkin spice stuff popping up in the stores! This month is great for soups, crockpots, and meals that warm the belly! So here’s my 2016 October Monthly Meal Plan to help you get started!   Download the 2016 October Monthly Meal Plan: 2016 October Monthly Meal Plan PDF 2016 October Monthly Meal Plan Word Doc (Editable)   If you haven’t already used this before, you can click on any of the underlined menu items to get to the recipe. Busy Mom’s Guide to Home-cooked Meals

As a busy mom of four, I find meal planning a little on the stressful side. I actually enjoy cooking, however when we’re busy with school and other activities, I don’t always have time to run to the store, or think of something healthy and tasty for my family. I don’t know about you all, but it’s really easy for me to want to run out and grab something quick when we’re in between activities, or coming home late from something. But as we all know, that can get expensive, and it’s really not very healthy depending on what you grab on the go.   But with just a little planning, it’s easy to skip the take-out and create a variety of home-cooked meals for your family, even when you’re busy like we are! As most of you know I always post my monthly meal plans here on my blog, but I’ve had also ton of requests for weekly shopping lists as well as a list of all of my recipes in one location, so I put all of that together in my new book! I’ve also added in a new customizable … [Read more...]

June 2016 Monthly Meal Plan

School is out for summer! Whoohoo! I don’t know about you guys, but I am so excited I could pee! But I won’t. Because that would be gross. And also not fitting for a monthly meal plan post. But I really am so excited to be done with school this year. I can’t wait for long summer days, sippin’ sweet tea on the front porch, and hanging out at the pool. Oooh, and grilling up some yummy summer food too! Since my plan is to relax and have fun, I don’t want to be slaving in the kitchen all summer. But I do like to make fresh salads, fruit salsas, and grill up a storm! So if that sounds good to you…here’s my way of keeping it simple for the summer! Oh, and don’t worry I’ll be back next week with all new Tip Tuesdays for you all! Yay! Hope my monthly meal plans help you as much as they do me!     Download the 2016 June Monthly Meal Plan: 2016 June Monthly Meal Plan PDF 2016 June Monthly Meal Plan Word Doc (Editable) If you haven’t already used this before, you can … [Read more...]
