The dogs are whining, the kids are all nervous, and there’s a HUGE lightening storm that keeps causing power outtages, so I thought now might be a good time to do a blog post.

Ok, I unplugged my laptop, at least I hopefully won’t get struck by lightening at the same time I’m writing.

So I’m trying to organize my workboxes, trying to figure out what to put in them, and how to organize my kids curriculum so I know what they should be doing each day…this whole thought is overwhelming to me, and so instead of actually doing that, I thought it was just another good reason to post on my blog, you know, since I know you are all waiting on the edge of your seats for my next post!

Did I mention that we also have our homebuilder here working on all the interior cracks in our house. My DH and I really do believe that the Lord lead us here, we just can’t figure out why considering we’ve had foundation movement, heilicle peirs drilled into bedrock, and now interior ‘fixes’ going on, but I’m sure there’s a lesson in all this somewhere…

During our lovely lightening storm, I couldn’t help but notice that there’s a big hole above our front door, that isn’t as noticeable in the photo, but should turn the pile of white drywall chunks on the floor to a nice paste if I don’t get it swept up soon.

Excuse me for a minute….okay, sorry, for all you non-mom’s reading this I apologize for the following comment, but my 3yr old just did the “I’m done” call from the bathroom…I know, we’re working on it.

Sorry, my life is one big distraction. So…any ideas you have for the boxes for little kids would be cool. Also, trying to organize it all into a spreadsheet so I can keep track each week is intimidating! I’m doing Abeka K with my son, they don’t have a nice weekly graph for me to follow like MFW does for my 2nd grader. I do really like the system so I will give it my 100%.

Leave your ideas in the comments, I’d love to hear how you organize your boxes and keep it all straight!

On a lighter note, we had a nice windy day here and got to fly kites yesterday!

The baby was mesmerized…

We won’t discuss how all of the kites ended up in one big tangled mess that my husband had to sort out…shhh, he gets cranky even thinking about it.
