My son wanted to do a lapbook on crabs, and I found this one on Homeschool Share.

We read A House for Hermit Crab and then did a fun activity on the back of the lapbook called “Hermit Crab’s Year” It is a story sequencing game, so as I read my son put up the activities of Hermit Crab for each month.

  1. We did that lapbook last year with my 3 oldest kiddos. It became one of their favorite books, but I think that is because they also got hermit crabs as pets, which they could then watch actually change shells. 🙂 The dear crabs have since passed away, and the kids still ask when we will get more. Maybe one of these days…p.s. I'm new to your blog, only been over here are few days. Thanks for a great place to visit!

  2. I found your blog today from a comment you left on another blog. I am planning on homeschooling my now one year old. I hope to learn a lot from you blog. (Oh I also added your button on my sidebar. I love it!)
