oh I am glad you posted this b/cuz it is on my "to print/make" list. Very cute indeedy!
I remember doing this with hearts with my first graders when I taught. There's a super cute book called something like "Have you ever heard of a bullfrog?" It's all about how compound words change what it is.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
I wasn't sure which of your WONDERFUL posts to comment on, but I just wanted you to know that your blog has become one of my VERY FAVORITES and I have used it repeatedly these past two weeks for my son's preschool curriculum on Christmas. I have your button on my blog and I really appreciate your site. I wrote a post with several link backs over here so I thought I would share that with you. I pray you have a very merry Christmas.http://www.heart-toward-home.com/2010/12/christmas-preschool-printables.html
