Birth of Jesus Bible Study

I’m so excited for the giveaway today and it’s a perfect fit for the Christmas season! We’ve just started the multi-level Birth of Jesus study. It’s been so awesome to go through this as we approach the holidays that I wanted to share it all with you too!

We started using Grapevine Studies last year, and after a year of using the curriculum, we still LOVE it! it’s easy, and my children have fun drawing the little stick figures for everything. What I love most is that even Tinker Bell can look back at her drawings and recall what was going on in that section. I also really like the maps they include. It’s so cool to show my children where things took place, and how far people traveled as we go through the study.

What’s this study all about?

Saddle up your donkey and take your children and teens on a trip back to the manger! The timeline of the Nativity will come alive through the Bible study of the characters and events surrounding the birth of Jesus. On this journey students will map the travels of Joseph and Mary as they travel from Nazareth, to Bethlehem, to Jerusalem, to Egypt and back to Nazareth. Through the accounts of Matthew and Luke observe how Herod, the Wise Men, and the Shepherds responded to the newborn King. Strap on your sandals and start your journey today!

The study includes:

  • The chronology of the Nativity
  • The people involved
  • Where Jesus traveled
  • Scriptures related to the Birth of Jesus

  17. I love the Timeline studies. I think they are an excellent way to lay things out visually and better comprehend the spectrum of events. They are now on our next school year list… :)

  19. My children have been really interested in the birth of Jesus so I would love to use this with them and start with that study!

  21. We just finished Creation to Jacob and are now working on Joseph to the Promised Land. We have loved both!

  25. I just recently ordered the Old Testament for Beginners! So, it’s my favorite so far! But I want to get them ALL!

  28. I would definitely download some of the ebooks for homeschool bible study. It would help get my visual learners involved.

  29. The birth of Jesus multilevel, since I have so many levels of children :)

  30. We are doing Beginner Old Testament right now and I really like it. I would like to do Level 1 New Testament next.

  31. I love that there are so many Beginner studies. I did not grow up in a religious family so i need things like this to share the Bible with my children.

  34. I would love to try the timeline study since that was lacking in my own Biblical education growing up.

  35. I would like the Timelines. Most studies flip-flop between NT and OT books, so it gets confusing keeping up with how it all fits together.

  36. We are going through the New Testament Overview right now, so I’ll say that’s my favorite Grapevine study. :)

  38. I think my favorite would be the birth of Jesus Christ, but I do believe I’d love them all! I’m going to place an order!

  39. I would probably start out with the OT or NT overview for my 3, 6 & 9 yr old.

    I like the “Biblical Feasts and Holy Days” study. When looking over the sample lesson on Yom Kippur, I was impressed by the in-depth study that the lessons require.

    I have not done any of these studies, but the one that looks most interesting to me is the one about Biblical Feasts. My family could certainly benefit from this study! Thanks for sharing!

  67. My favorite to look in to is the parts 1-4 of the Old Testament. Something to think about for later homeschool

  89. I love the Birth of Jesus, but I think the creation to Jacob seems to be the age they recommend for my kiddos since I am currently homeschooling a 3rd grader and a Kindergartener. I love the idea of actually being able to show them maps of where things took place. My kids LOVE maps!
