Hi everyone! As promised, I have some more sight word sentence printables for you! Today I am sharing Kindergarten (Primer)  Kindergarten Sight Word Sentence worksheets.

Each one has the word along with a funny sentence. Students will practice tracing the word, reading the word, then writing it on their own.

Students will also cut out the letters and spell the word correctly to complete their sentence, great for fine-motor skills and spelling practice! Next they will write the word to complete the sentence.

Finally they will make up their own sentence using their newly learned sight word! The repetition along with the variety of activities really helps students remember their sight words!

This download includes 40 Primer level sight words from the Dolch sight word list.

  2. Hello – I just wanted to say how much I LOVE your site word sentence writing worksheets, I am a in home daycare provider with kids ages newborn-7yrs old. I am finding my Kindergarten and 1st grade kids are having such a hard time in school as in Kindergarten they have to know how to read, right and spell 75 site words and in 1st grade they have 160 site words, 288 spelling words and 96 vocabulary words to learn for the year. I am trying to use the time they are with me at daycare to help my kiddos with some of these words ect and the sentence writing worksheets have been a huge help to us. There are some words my kids have trouble with that I can’t seem to find worksheets on anywhere with these words. I have left the words below that I am having trouble finding helper pages for if by chance you add these words or If I could buy these words in your site word sentences somewhere please let me know.
Again I love this site and thank you so much for everything

  3. I found your blog yesterday and it is at the PERFECT time. My daughter is in kindergarten at a Spanish language immersion school. They have ZERO English language arts until kindergarten so we are learning to read (in English) at home. Your activities and printables are awesome.

  4. My printer is fussy and cut off the letters at the bottom. Would it be possible to find out what font, size you used so I can make a sheet of letters to use with the worksheets? The cutting and pasting activities are his favorite. Thanks so much for you printables. We love all the units we’ve bought and all the wonderful free printables as well.

  5. Thank you so much for taking the time to make worksheets like this! Our family lives in Russia where I am teaching 4 other grades and my poor little pre-k boy was really missing out. I found him copying his letters off a pizza box (in cyrillic!) and thought he must be ready for a little more than I had been offering 🙂 You have made my job so much easier! God Bless You!!

  6. Thank you so much for these! When I use to teach kindergarten I would have loved to find these but as a homeschool mom on a more confined budget I think it is a wonderful blessing. I would love to know how you created them.
