2010 File Folder Games

Since this blog is called “Confessions…” I have one.  When I first started homeschooling, I didn’t understand what a “File Folder Game” was. I downloaded all these fun games and just kept them in a manilla envelopes. It wasn’t until this year when we started Lapbooking, that I realized what a File Folder Game was! I immediately went and gathered my manilla envelope games, and put them into file folders and voila! Paint Brush Color Matching

One of our fun file folder games is the Paint Brush Color Match game. Everyone plays with this, even the older kids play with this. Must be the cute little paint brushes :o) (Note: the download contains jars for all the colors, our yellow one ripped and I just haven't reprinted cuz' I'm lazy!) Mini-Office Lapbook and file folder fun!

We made some file folder games today and a mini-office for my 2nd grader. Here is the mini-office. If you aren't familiar with this concept, its basically just a helper for the kids to keep at their desk, so they have quick easy access to the most commonly asked questions. File Folder Fun

I'd made these file folder games awhile back and forgot about them! Just remembered and put them in boxes. I like this idea because its more like playing a game than working!
