  1. I love your website and am looking forward to beginning the Letter of the Week curriculum with my 3 year old. I do have on comment about your meal plan. Have you considered a meatless Monday meal? We try to eat a vegetarian meal 2-3 times a week. I noticed you use a lot of meat in your meal plans. Just a thought. Lentils are a fast and easy way to get protein into a diet. Thanks for all the advice and tips you offer on your website.

      1. Have you read the scriptures in the Bible about the foods God intended us to eat? I was trying to look over your menu, but there is a large amount of pork which is a forbidden food as well as a few others. I do love a lot of your products and devotions. I was just a little disappointed when I got to review a menu. Please share any insight you have on this.

  2. Hi Erica Is there any chance of you doing more different pictures for the letter D? Like maybe cute baby ducks? I see you have several for a (apple& ants) J (jellybeans & Jesus) and also M (m&m’s & monkey. Would love to see another option. I bought your LOTW a while back and am starting my girls with it this year. Thank-you I really like it.

    1. Hi Maria,
I do tend to repeat my meals on a monthly basis. I figure if we’re only repeating a meal once a month that’s good enough for me! Otherwise I tend to repeat meals weekly out of lack of ideas! I do change up my menus though based on seasons. So you’ll see more soups and stuff coming up and the December menu has a lot of fun holiday things in it as well. Summer tends to have more grilled items. Also as you’ll notice, I put up an editable menu so you can change anything you don’t like to fit the needs of your family better :o) Hope that helps!

  4. Hey Erica! Thanks so much for your blog! It’s such a blessing for me and my family. I don’t know how you do it all! You’re so organized!! (I also have four kids and am a homeschooling momma except only two are in school. My little ones are 2 yrs and 2 1/2 months!) I’ve made a menu plan for a while, usually two weeks at a time and usually just dinners. It takes me forever when I wanna plan breakfasts and lunches too, so I’ve loved using yours for the last two months!! Such a time saver! And we are absolutely loving the smoothies!! Such a great way to start the day! I’m making my own granola (using Megan’s granola recipe from allrecipes.com) and we love it!! I use coconut oil for the oil and add flax after baking and I just love all the healthy goodness we get from it! I got the idea for granola from you also, before I never used it except for granola bars. Delicious!! I have noticed that the plans are similar from month to month, but I don’t care. You’ve still taken the time to do it so I don’t have to, and there’s nothing wrong with being similar to what you ate a month ago! With out a plan most people will eat the same dinners week to week. And if I don’t like something I can plan for myself or tweak it! I pretty much follow your breakfast, lunch, and snacks exactly. I usually do different dinners to suit my picky family. But what a blessing to have it all done for me and just have to plan the dinners!! I think what exactly your family eats is still a personal choice and it’s very sweet of you to share that with us. People can take it or leave it, or tweak it to fit their needs. Hopefully respecting the fact that you are a busy woman who has taken time to organize this out and share it, and realizing that it’s still your personal decision what goes on it because it’s what your family will be eating! I for one really appreciate it! And I know a lot of other people do too!! Thanks again!
