Hi everyone! Iโ€™m super excited to release my Vintage Fall quilt pattern today! Iโ€™ve had so many requests for a fall quilt and I love how this one turned out! And I have a GIVEAWAY for one of you so make sure to read all the way to the bottom!

Fall always makes me think of falling leaves with all of the beautiful changing colors, apple cider, crisp cool air, and an annual trip to the pumpkin patch. And so I really wanted my vintage trucks to be hauling cute little pumpkins along with some fun fall foliage!

I used Farm House II fabric by Figtree for Moda. I also snuck in a few prints from their original Farm House line that I have been saving for a special project.

And of course I used my Alphabitties to help keep all of the pieces for this project organized.

For the binding I used the Farm House II black cross print and love the pop it gives!

I also chose to do a swirl quilting pattern on it. It reminds me of falling leaves! Iโ€™m not a professional quilter, so the pattern isnโ€™t perfect, but honestly, I love how it turned out, and love the imperfect and random swirls!

And of course, I added a lot of pumpkins to this quilt, because, what is fall without vintage trucks carting around pumpkins?

I also did a fun row of leaf sashing between the truck rows. I love the added colors and the little leaves are a perfect fall addition.

  2. I started quitting last year when I made my first quilt for my sister in law’s new baby girl. I had never quilted before, but your videos helped me get started and I am forever grateful. I love memory quilts and I am so blessed to have found your channel! My first quilt was made for my late husband’ new baby niece that he never got the chance to meet. It’s made with pieces of his army uniforms, one of which he wore to our wedding. Quilting has been a huge help in my grief process. And your videos helped me start it! I’m not really big on patterns, they kind of intimidate me, but this one has stolen my heart! Thanks for all you do! You are such an inspiration!
