Sample SAL Schedule:

If you are doing both the Stitchy Ornaments and Quilty Ornaments, I recommend doing the Stitchy Ornaments on odd days and the Quilty Ornaments on even days! If you are just doing one or the other, then I recommend sewing one ornament every two days to finish in time for Christmas. That’s just a guide, of course, you can sew and stitch whenever you like!

Sample Stitchy + Quilty Schedule:

  • Dec 1: Stitchy Ornament #1
  • Dec 2: Quilty Ornament #1
  • Dec 3: Stitchy Ornament #2
  • Dec 4: Quilty Ornament #2
  • and so on…finishing with Ornament #12 on December 24!

The Stitchy Ornaments finish at about 2″ x 2″ which is the perfect size for the 3″ Tart Tin Ornaments! I stitched my ornaments on 14-count Zweigart Aqua and finished them with a cute red gingham bow too. Stay tuned, I will have a finishing video coming soon! The 2023 Sew Jolly Quilty Ornaments finish at about 4″ x 4″ which is the perfect size for the Pencil Tree I have in my sewing room! I finished them with some fun red and white striped ribbon, a ric-rac hanger, and some mini-pom trim around the outside edges. Stay tuned, I will have a finishing video coming soon!
