I’ve seen this idea on paper plates before and decided to make it for my preschool A-Z Review games.

A-Z Clothespin MatchUp: Write uppercase or lowercase letters on the ends of mini-clothespins (I got mine from the craft section of Wal-mart), then clip them on to the appropriate spots on the game disks! This is a fun game, and my daughter loves the little clothespins so it was a wonderful addition to our review games.

Clothespin Number Match: Write numbers 1-10 on mini-clothespins and match them up to the dots on the number disks.

As of 5/24/10 both of these games have also been added to my Letter of the Week curriculum downloads!

  2. Thank you for sharing and a giving heart! I loved the alphabet wheels, and printed them for my Kindergarten classroom ABC center. I thought the idea was soooo creative and cheap. May God continue to bless you and your family.

  4. This really makes my day! Nothing like hands on learning for the kiddos… The first thing I thought about when I saw this was paper plates as well. This is really resourceful, even if you are using “scrap clothespins”. It gives them a purpose and a home ; )

  5. Thank you, Thank you for sharing! I teach special education and I have been thinking of a new way to teach letter and beginning sounds and numbers and I think my kiddos will really love these! I appreciate you making them free to download. You are so creative! I cannot wait to see what other goodies you have on this site that could help my kiddos!

  6. Such a cute activity. I love that this doubles as a fine motor skill! One of my kids had fine motor issues at age 11, because he is so darn big for his age. I am in the process of going back and having him do a ton of activities like this to strengthen his fine motor muscles. This just gave me an idea that I can do for him:).
    Thank you!!

  7. THANK YOU! So many people want to make money off their ideas. I want to say as a new teacher I thank you for putting this out there for us to use! It will be very useful to my preschoolers! God Bless!
