Carson-Dellosa Spectrum Readers

Hi everyone! We’re knee deep into summer, and one of the things we like to encourage during summertime is lots of reading.

One of our newest book series we’ve been checking out and LOVING is the Spectrum Reading series by Carson-Dellosa.

They have readers for Kindergarten through second grades right now and they cost just $3.99 each! My kids have enjoyed the colorful pages and of course they’re exciting topics are inviting for most young readers.

Each level reader features cool facts on a variety of exciting topics, including colorful photos, and up close shots of some of the coolest animals around. But they’re not just about animals, the Spectrum Readers also include a variety of earth & life science topics including human bodies, plants, and weather.

  38. These look so fun! Some of my children were standing over my shoulder as I was looking at the readers, and they said, “Mom, we gotta get those books”! So we would absolutely LOVE the opportunity to win the raffle, so we can take turns passing them around to read & explore. BTW….We have 10 children w/#11 due in Dec., we are homeschooling 7 of them right now. So…any level would be great since we have from “pre-reader” to “advance” readers, but I guess if we had to choose, probably the 2nd or 3rd level would do good. Thank you for such a great resource to learn about!!!!

  88. I’d love them all! WE love this type of thing. It’s hard to find books with real photos at their level. This is exactly what we’ve been looking for! We’d be interested in level 1 or 2. Not sure. Also, I’m a bit confused. The books you showcase are $4 ea, and another series is $2 ea. Am I missing something?

  103. I think Level 1, but it’s hard to tell without being able to see inside. It seems like each publisher levels their readers differently. It drives me crazy! :)
