I’m excited to say that I am joining up with TEACH Magazine and their Gabby Mom Bloggers to bring you some wonderful, Christian homeschooling product reviews! One of my first reviews is for a publication called “True Treasures: 10 years of  TEACH Magazine”

True Treasures: $19.97

I have to say that when I first got this book it looked PACKED with articles and I was thinking to myself “yikes, I hope I can find some time to read this before the review is due!” Then typical to my usual antics I put it in a pile and walked away. You know, it’s always better to procrastinate ;o)

I’m sorry to say that I waited WAY too long before cracking this sweet gem. I was heading to a day at the dentist office and figured that sometime between my own and the other 3 kids appointments I’d at least be able to skim through it.

Well, I have to say that I’d never in my life wished a dentist appointment would have lasted longer than on this day! I started reading on page one and when you’re convicted from the first sentence you know that it’s going to be great! As I continued on I found that this book is really the essence of the title. It is indeed a True Treasure! It’s packed full of article after article of Godly counsel, conviction and encouragement.

The articles are broken into the following sections:

  • Jewels for the Heart
  • Marriage
  • Parenting
  • Homemaking
  • Homeschooling
  • Godly Loving

This collection of the best articles from TEACH Magazine truly hit home for me, addressing and encouraging almost everything I’ve gone through this year! It’s like the ladies were sitting in my own living room taking notes. A nice reminder that we are not in this journey alone, but that others are going through the same difficulties! And WOW what a blessing we can be by sharing with others!

At this point my only regret is that I just now got it. Well, that and the fact that I’m a slacker and waited at least a week before reading it!

It really confirmed my decision to join up with TEACH Magazine and the Gabby Mom Bloggers! To know that I’m in such great company as women who have written these solid articles is humbling!

  1. You may want to check the shopping cart on the book's website. A woman's name and address comes up when I am trying to make a purchase. If the name and address is your's you may want to think about asking customer service to delete your personal information from their website.
