Hi everyone! I wanted to do something fun and unusual today, so I made a homeschool room tour video to share with you all!
I’m so sorry, it turned out kind of long, so I had to break it up into two parts. But for those of you interested in seeing our room “live” so to speak, grab a cup of coffee (you’ll need it to stay awake) and join me on a tour of our homeschool room!
Also, keep in mind this is my first real video…um. yeah…just keep that in mind ;o) and it ended up being really long! Sorry I’ll try to talk less in future videos LOL!

This is great! So organized! Thanks for sharing.
Loved the video tour! You did a great job, thank you for sharing it with us 🙂
Erica, thank you so much for your video!!! I love your website and your classroom is amazing! I have so much inspiration from your creative atmosphere.
My hubby cringes every time I read one of your fantastic posts…because he just knows it is going to give me some “new” idea for our classroom!!! LOL!!!
Our classroom is a dream come true for our family and a lot of the ideas were inspired by your blog.
Thank you again so much for sharing and being so creative. We love all the hard work you put into your curriculum.
I loved the video!! I hope you make more! This is my third year homeschooling and I have been struggling with how to get it organized. We have been using the dining room table, which doesn’t work so well b/c I feel like I don’t get to spend enough time with my 3 year old and then we have another baby due in 2 months. We have a large sunroom that we use for a playroom. We received some gift cards for Christmas and went to IKEA last week and bough everything for the table set-up and we bought the 4X4 Expedit shelving. The kids LOVE the table. They sit at it even when we are done with school! Thank-you for the inspiration!
That was awesome. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait till I have a room just for a schoolroom. Right now we have a Living/Kitchen/Dining/Entryway/Schoolroom. It will be nice to have space like yours someday. I enjoyed all the detail. Very inspiring! Something to strive for. I’m not quite that organized. 🙂 YET!
This is AH-MAZING!!! I want to be this organized when I grow up!! 🙂
I loved the videos. Thank you SO much for sharing!
This was really great! Thank you very much for sharing. You definitely inspire me.
Great tour. I love your homeschool room and enjoyed the tour. I did not think it was too long at all. I showed it to my kids and they want to see it after school today.
We are in our second year of homeschooling (preschool – using your letter of the week curriculum and 4th grade) and use our dining room for school. It wasn’t being used anyways. It’s just not as conveniently laid out because you walk through it for the kitchen on one side and the living room on another and a hallway on another. The last wall has a big window, which is great, but we don’t have as much wall space. I was able to get some great ideas from this video.
Would love to know the name of the pencils again and what you put your stuff up on the walls with. We need some good pencils. The cheap ones do not sharpen very well, much less erase.
