Hello awesome readers. Today I come to you with a cry for support.

Thank you to so many of you who supported last week’s blog post about honoring copyright.

Unfortunately, this action ruffled some feathers of one of the Facebook groups in question. They’ve chosen to have their members report my Confessions of a Homeschooler Facebook account as abusive and Facebook has disabled my account in response.

PLEASE HELP!

Today I come to you with a cry for support to have my account reinstated. I don’t know if it will work or not, but I’m hoping if we flood Facebook with requests they may take notice. I’m currently trying to appeal to Facebook to get the account reinstated and would appreciate any support you are comfortable giving!

If you feel led to support my cause, please use hashtag:

#WeLoveCoah

Feel free to copy and paste any of the tweet/FB posts below, or create your own!

Please Reinstate http://www.facebook.com/ConfessionsofaHomeschooler for www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com @ericahomeschool #WeLoveCoah

Feel free too share links to your favorite COAH printables with your followers too! Any support is appreciated!

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all of your support, I am so blessed to see so many people already standing up for what is right as well as helping to petition for my Facebook page already!

P.S. Make sure to check in tomorrow, I have a fun freebie for everyone!

  1. I’m so sorry to hear all this. I’m not on Facebook (for reasons several others outlined above) so there’s nothing I can do on that front. However, your family will be in my prayers. I hope this is resolved quickly and you realize what a blessing you and your blog are to so many homeschool families out there, mine included. Thank you!

  2. So sorry Erica! I posted it to my FB…hope it helps. I absolutely LOVE your site and have purchased a lot of your curriculum, it has helped my boys so much. Your prices are so reasonable and you offer so much for free, I can’t believe that people are sharing it. Thanks for all you do, your amazing! Hope this all goes away soon.

  3. My friend recently went through this with her site, Beggar’s Daughter. She emailed Facebook and since it was something as ridiculous as what you are going through, they reinstated her.
Since this is concerning copyright infringement as well, they should be all over it. Additionally, I would report that group to them as they are trading your products illegally.

  4. I don’t use Facebook anyway. I am in support of people not supporting Facebook. I don’t think that not being on Facebook will harm you in anyway. You were successful before, and you don’t need Facebook. I say drop them.

  5. Passed around the info. to every homeschool group I know of! And like one post said, above, there may be more “publicity” now for Confessions of a Homeschooler!!

Could someone post “how to” email Facebook about this situation? Perhaps a flood of POSITIVE emails about CofAH will help!!

  6. This is terrible and so childish. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Thanks for all you do!! And goodluck 🙂 I am not a homeschooling mom but I love your blog and all the help you give to the homeschooling community. I try my best to work with my little guy at home as much as possible because he is a hands on learner and its hard for the schools to work with that. I use your blog to help me help him 🙂 As a matter of fact I just purchased the Carson-Dellosa Summer Bridge Activity Book you mentioned a few blogs ago to help keep us up and going through the summer. So, you are also a huge blessing to us working moms as well!!
