Hello awesome readers. Today I come to you with a cry for support.

Thank you to so many of you who supported last week’s blog post about honoring copyright.

Unfortunately, this action ruffled some feathers of one of the Facebook groups in question. They’ve chosen to have their members report my Confessions of a Homeschooler Facebook account as abusive and Facebook has disabled my account in response.

PLEASE HELP!

Today I come to you with a cry for support to have my account reinstated. I don’t know if it will work or not, but I’m hoping if we flood Facebook with requests they may take notice. I’m currently trying to appeal to Facebook to get the account reinstated and would appreciate any support you are comfortable giving!

If you feel led to support my cause, please use hashtag:

#WeLoveCoah

Feel free to copy and paste any of the tweet/FB posts below, or create your own!

Please Reinstate http://www.facebook.com/ConfessionsofaHomeschooler for www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com @ericahomeschool #WeLoveCoah

Feel free too share links to your favorite COAH printables with your followers too! Any support is appreciated!

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all of your support, I am so blessed to see so many people already standing up for what is right as well as helping to petition for my Facebook page already!

P.S. Make sure to check in tomorrow, I have a fun freebie for everyone!

  1. Every time I try to do anything on Facebook it redirects me to my page!! So I am taking a different approach!! I am posting this on my wall, which will lead back to your blog!! I know this isn’t how you want things to be going!! I believe God has a plan and a reason!! I think you provide an amazing service and are extremely genuine in your reasoning for sharing your love of homeschooling!! So I will choose to forego attempts to get you back on Facebook, since its not working !! But I will post as many links in as many groups to bring more followers to your blog!! Try to focus only on your blog and your readers will bring plenty more readers to your blog!! I just pray you can work on posts and fun things to help us get ready for our next school year, rapidly approaching!! I would hate to send new followers to a page though that has the Facebook stuff everywhere! I believe you need to be supported but want to support you and your ministry not feed the people who are trying to hurt you! I want others to share in posting on their Facebook pages and support what we love about Confessions of a Homeschooler!!! I plan to post later today, so I hope you have time to reconsider this post as your top blog when new people come to your blog!! I hope I don’t sound preachy, I am just looking at it from a different perspective!!!
What I plan to post: I want to share with all my friends a great resource for teaching your preschoolers as well as homeschoolers!! Erica is a great Christian mom and has amazing tips, ideas, help and support for all ages!!! Please check out her blog here http://www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com/

  2. Sorry Erica. You have my complete support in standing up for what is right. This is a direct attack from the enemy and so we will stand in the gap until it is restored. Press on dear sister.

  3. I’m so sorry this is happening! I posted your FB post and I shared on my wall. Praying this will be resolved soon. I have been soooo blessed by your website, as I know many others have. Truth will prevail 🙂

  4. I am embarrassed that fellow homeschoolers would do something so underhanded and trashy. I have shown my support on fb because another mom who reads your blog sent out the call for help. Now when you are reinstated I can like your page and check out your stuff! Honestly, being chronically ill, I prefer the ease of reproductibles, so for primary curriculum we like like to buy workbooks from the teacher supply store, but it means we miss out on nice curriculum like yours. Those free printable sound nice though.

  5. I saw another FB go through this recently and she spent weeks trying to contact facebook to get her page reinstated. She struggled to get a live person to respond. Eventually, she discovered a backdoor route by reporting her page as hacked and asking them to allow her access back in. They unlocked her account and reinstated it automatically. It was the only way she was able to get anyone to take action with her page.

I am so sorry you are going through this. The good Lord has your back though, and will help you find a solution in His perfect timing. Remember, He is in complete control. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for what may well become an amazing testimony through this trial. Praise Him through the storm and have faith. *hugs*

  6. Was so sad to read your troubles.
Truth be told our family went from individual fb accounts to a shared family page.
(8 to 10 of us throughout a year. Not all of us have time.)
The whole thing with fb is turning dark. We have seriously considered dropping it because there are far better ways to keep in touch. Google? Pinterest? Direct emails?
Sad everyday you hear more stories of good wholesome folks being punished and yet evil seems to keep right on trucking along. Hang in there, we’ll keep you in our morning prayers. Also its hard to tell if fb will reinstate you or like many others you will have to start a new page. I shared your plight with my homeschooling friends. HTH’s.

  7. Any posts on FB on your behalf are being deleted. I’m so sorry and all I can do is pray for you but most importantly for those that have acted out this way…so truly sad.

  8. This is so crazy! Will do whatever I can to help you out! I can not believe that there are fellow homeschoolers out there that would do this to someone. What does this teach their kids? Seriously. Crazy. Hope everything gets resolved for you soon!
