Hello awesome readers. Today I come to you with a cry for support.

Thank you to so many of you who supported last week’s blog post about honoring copyright.

Unfortunately, this action ruffled some feathers of one of the Facebook groups in question. They’ve chosen to have their members report my Confessions of a Homeschooler Facebook account as abusive and Facebook has disabled my account in response.

PLEASE HELP!

Today I come to you with a cry for support to have my account reinstated. I don’t know if it will work or not, but I’m hoping if we flood Facebook with requests they may take notice. I’m currently trying to appeal to Facebook to get the account reinstated and would appreciate any support you are comfortable giving!

If you feel led to support my cause, please use hashtag:

#WeLoveCoah

Feel free to copy and paste any of the tweet/FB posts below, or create your own!

Please Reinstate http://www.facebook.com/ConfessionsofaHomeschooler for www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com @ericahomeschool #WeLoveCoah

Feel free too share links to your favorite COAH printables with your followers too! Any support is appreciated!

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all of your support, I am so blessed to see so many people already standing up for what is right as well as helping to petition for my Facebook page already!

P.S. Make sure to check in tomorrow, I have a fun freebie for everyone!

  1. I am so very sorry to hear that this has happened to you. We use and love your LOTW curriculum with our 3 1/2 year old son. He looks forward to the new themes weekly and loves learning his memory verses. He is hearing impaired so we are learning them in ASL and spoken word. He is also very medically complex and we spend a lot of time each week at doctor appointments and therapies. I so appreciate all of the time and energy you have put into creating such inviting studies so that I can teach him at home while meeting his other needs and those of my family.

  2. Done!

I see this too often on Facebook. They normally come back once they review it. I manage a page for my awareness work and I know it’s easy to upset some no matter how hard you try not to. Just hang in there. The majority really love what you are doing!

  3. I just cannot believe that fellow homeschoolers would do things like this. Violating copyright and online bullying are not ok and I pray that you can get this resolved quickly. I posted to facebook, but I agree with others that you are going to have to go through specific channels and you know, talk to an actual human being. Praying this gets resolved, and that whoever did this to you gets some sort of consequence for making these false accusations!

  4. This is ridiculous. I do not understand how people can do something completely wrong and then get vindictive once they are called out!
I am so sorry this is happening to you Erica, but I am sure it will be resolved in your favor. Anyone who reads your blog and page know you are a sweet and generous person.
I tweeted and made a status and will submit feedback to FB on your behalf.

  5. This is absolutely outrageous! I can’t imagine that this could happen?! This just seems like a sick joke, but I know Jill from Enchanted Homeschooling Mom has been talking about this “sharing group” for a while — we will get it back for you!!! xo

  6. I am disgusted by this whole thing!! I am so sorry. That link takes me to my fb homepage. I sent a report to request your account to be reinstated. I don’t know if that will help.
