  1. There’s no video, i think you forgot to upload it!

  2. Once the video is on I am hoping you will let us know what the boards/mats were that you used when your gorgeous rabble made the polar bear pictures. I see they are not listed in the links so I am assuming they are perhaps something homemade. Thanks again for all the hardwork you put in with your website you are such an inspiration.

    • Hi Sally,
The boards were 2×3 chalkboards we found at Office Depot. We turn them over and do our art projects on the backside of them :o)

  3. I don’t see the video either! And I just got done telling my husband how excited I got for this video when I saw the title and we laughed at how silly it was that I got THAT excited! And it’s not even there! Oh, the irony!

  4. You said that your DYMO LetraTag Label Maker doesn’t have symbols. I’m wondering how old it is. I have had mine for years (same one) and if you hit “Insert” and scroll to “Symbols” (you may not even have to scroll), there are MANY symbols in there! Hope you find them!

  5. I am in the process of organizing our art supplies right now. I started it this weekend and it is just so hard to find time for “extra” stuff like this during the week so hopefully I can finish this little project later on this week. Am I the only one that has problems with getting extra projects done during a regular week?

  6. Andrea Gardner says:

Oooo! Your art cabinet is better than mine! I think I have a new project to work on….although I should also prepare for our new baby who is due in 8 weeks or so. LOL

  7. Sandy Cannon says:

Just wondering if you could post the link for the craft boxes from joanns. I saw the ones at the container store, but not the ones at Joanns. Thank you!

    • Natalie Smothers says:

I was curious about the same thing. I need the 10×11 size…very important for space. 8×8 is too small and 12×12 is too large. Thanks a million!!

    • When I was at Costco today I saw aome boxes that reminded me of the ones in Erica’s video. Not sure on the exact size or quality. There were clear and colored ones. I believe it was 5 boxes for $19.99. I am bummed I did not buy any while I was there. I hope this helps. 😉

      • ElizabethH says:

Thanks so much for your suggestion Tiffany. My Costco had them as well. Five boxes that fit 12×12 paper for $19.99. They came in two different color sets, with one of the 5 being clear in each set.

  8. Jenny Johnson says:

I would love to know how you organize paper? We have lots of craft paper from 8×10 to 12×18 sheets. From cardstock to drawing to construction paper. Any tips/ideas for that. I struggle more with the 12×18 sheets. Thanks for your tour. I love all that you do and it really inspires me here at home. Many blessings to you.

  9. Thanks for the videos!

What works for you for organizing all your kids books? Wether it’s in the school room, their bedroom or ?

  10. Fabulous video! I’ve loved your latest series of videos. It’s so nice to see how other are working out their homeschool.

  11. Hi I love your idea for the art in kitchen we are moving and I am gonna see if we have room for that!!

I have the same label maker and it does have dashes and symbols and pictures you can add. Push the insert button and it takes you to a menu on add on’s you can choose!! I hope you find them!!

  12. You’ve inspired me! Moving art to the kitchen!!

  13. Kristin Borton says:

Thanks for the video! I love seeing great tips and suggestions for staying organized. 🙂 Very helpful!

  14. Love the video tours you have been doing! Thank you so much!
How about a video on how you plan out your school year in advance??? Every time I plan out ahead of time, “something” comes up like doctor’s appointments, illness, etc. and then I have this schedule that is days and days behind. Do you plan in catch-up days? Would love to have our school year planned out ahead of time, right down to the having the right craft supplies on hand as I have read that you do. Otherwise, too often we end up skipping the “fun stuff” for lack of having the materials in the house. Please guide us in how you do it! 🙂

  15. I’m loving your videos! How about a video of a typical day at Calendar Time, or one of your art/geography curriculums? Maybe that is asking too much but too see your school day in action, even if it is just a short clip, would be awesome!

  16. Thank you for sharing!!! You had so many things we do, it was like looking in my own cabinets! 😀
    Have a Blessed Day!

  17. Thank you so much for sharing!! I have been enjoying the videos very much and thank you
for taking the time to share such helpful and detailed information:)

  18. Thanks for sharing! I just got my Math U See block organizer that inspired from you.
Would you please share how you organize all your books? I always have hard time organize my books.

    Thank you!

  19. Erica! That was so fun to see! Thanks for doing the videos. It’s nice to hear you and see you “live” vs in your blog writing.

  20. Christina P. says:

I would love a similar video of your manipulatives! Thanks for sharing!

  21. Hi, Erica!
I just wanted to say thank you! I woke up this morning super tired and somewhat cranky (stayed up till midnight preparing our taxes) and had no desire whatsoever to do any mommy school today. Then I saw this email and watched the video and it got me all excited to do a project with the kids! AND I printed some exercises too! Thank you so much for being so upbeat and excited about homeschooling! Love you and your site!

  22. I was wondering if you ever get free shipping coupon codes from Lakeshore?

  23. Thanks for sharing, I am so ready to organize our craft cabinent and you provided some great ideas. It was cute to see Teeny Tots hand pop in there, I was wondering how you were going to pull out the play dough supplies without anyone noticing. 🙂

  24. Colleen May says:

I love your video tours! They inspire me so much. I was just standing in my hallway earlier this week looking in the closet wondering how I could organize all of our art stuff. It is a mess at the moment, but you have inspired me to organize it! Thank you so much for always taking the time to make videos for us all! On behalf of myself and all of your readers…I think I can safely say that you are appreciated so much!! 🙂

  25. You have such great organizing ideas for school that I am sure that you have some great ones for the children’s toys (especially all those baby dolls + supplies). Maybe you could share some more “around the house” type stuff on Fridays. Have a great weekend!

  26. I have enjoyed ALL of your recent videos….especially appreciate your gift of organization. Thanks for sharing and look forward to more videos. Thanks.

  27. Confessions Reader says:

What types of labels do you use for the DYMO labeler?

  28. Hi,
I have loved watching your tours! I have such a hard time with organization so I’ve been very inspired by yours!
Could you possibly do a playroom or kids rooms tour? I’d love to see how you organize those? Thanks!

  29. I thought this awesome! I am a homeschooling mom of five and I’m always looking for new and better ways to organize. Thanks for letting me “take a peek”. =)
