Hi everyone! After publishing my K4 Handwriting Worksheets (manuscript) I had a ton of requests for Cursive Handwriting Worksheets. It took me a bit to get them completed, but here they are!

As usual, you can print on copy paper and have students write with pencil on the sheets, or you can also print on copy paper, then laminate or stick inside a page protector and allow them to use them with Expo Dry-Erase markers! That way they’re re-usable and you can practice your sheets as many times as needed!

The line spacing for these sheets should be appropriate for kindergarten, first , or second graders who are just starting with cursive handwriting skills.

Each letter includes capital and lowercase letter practice. The first letter has arrows to help students properly form the letters, and the rest are simply dashed font for them to trace. Then the bottom line is blank with only the starting dot so they can practice writing the letters on their own! Enjoy!

  1. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add the K4 Number Writing worksheets in CURSIVE! We are doing classical conversations that encourages to begin with cursive. Number worksheets with cursive are impossible to find. Please consider making them with cursive. Thanks so much!

  2. Thank you so much for these worksheets. They are great. It is so much easier to write in cursive when thoughts race. Their words fly out of their mouths faster than they can print them just like us adults. Teaching cursive gives them the ability to write those thoughts independently. One more step for them to confidently stand on their own and chart their course while watched over rather than being dependent on an adult for simply expressing their creativity. Thank you again.

  3. I love the sheets, but as they’re printing, I noticed that the capital letter “Q” is wrong. Was this intentional so as not to confuse it with the number 2 (as most do)? Also, two “J” pages? Just curious, thanks! Great site!

    1. I Laurel, I apologize, that is the one that came with the cursive font. There are two J pages because a lot of school teacher’s use these downloads, and they are unable to use any pages with religious content.
